Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

The most delicious and authentic Mexican restaurant in the area. Highly recommend the chimichangas, quesadilla, street tacos and burritos, but you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. The freshly made guacamole is superb. The food is always hot and amazing! The owner is the nicest and always has a smile on his face. I recommend El Amigo to everyone who asks! They also helped celebrate our daughter’s birthday today!

Had a team lunch here. Cute spot, giving old school diner like restaurant. The service was great. Tarina was an absolute ball of joy she definitely bodied service with a smile! The have a salsa bar where you can go up and get sauces, and salsa. There was a guacamole salsa on the bar, which I've never had, and it was amazing! The guacamole itself also was very good. Flavorful and fresh.. All the food was made to order. Came to the table hot. All ingredients were very fresh, vibrant in color and flavorful! I went for the chicken fajitas, that came with beans, rice, little green salad, and guacamole and sour cream. Portions were nice size no need ask for extra. My chicken fajitas were delicious. Chicken was cooked perfectly, sizzled the whole time while at the table. Topped with peppers, onions and mushrooms. Normally not a big rice fan, but the rice was so good, I loved it! At first I was like 24 bucks for fatijas seemed little high, but after coming to the table, felt portion to price was good. Others at the table had the chicken chimichurri and a chicken burrito and they both enjoyed as well. Not in my neighborhood but I'd drive to Lancaster again to eat here.

An amazing experience, Terena (I hope i spelled her name right) , she provided great service and the food was outstanding. Truly authentic Mexican food. Everything was fresh and came together amazing. Below is the Pollo Torta. Looks as good as it tastes. Give Ramon and Terena a thumbs up and give this place a chance. Even the music was lovely, Mexican artists singing and dancing on the TV, really set the vibe.
