This is our favorite new place. The food was wonderful. The service was great. Everything came out on time, hot and tasty. We had my son's birthday here and it turned out to be the best decision we could have made. I had to add a little bit of salt to the guacamole and then it was top shelf. Even our two vegetarians in the family got exactly what they needed. The kids loved it. The grandparents loved it. Everyone loved it. We will be supporting this restaurant.

I’ve been to El Caporal a handful of times and haven’t had a bad experience ever. The servers are very attentive and friendly, the food is delicious, and the prices are comparable to other local restaurants. I’ve had chicken and shrimp dishes and the meat has been very tender. The chorizo is great, not too greasy, and delicious.

This is our favorite spot in Durant. We have been many times and tried several different dishes. The Birria tacos are amazing! My favorite is the Cali Burrito and Pollo El Caporal. Queso is the best in town! Staff is very friendly and attentive. Atmosphere is clean and usually decorated for the holidays. Menu is large and bar drinks are tasty and strong! My kiddo loves everything on the kids menu.
