Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

OWNER: please respond to your Google my business reviews (good and bad). There are no signs that I saw on menus, receipt or wall indicating 3.5% charge for credit card. I get why but please post it. $1.50 for 3 extra shells is tough to swollen. .50 if you want chicken and steak combo on fajitas, (reasonable) but does not make sense as the $16.99 is the same price for both, why pay more? Great news: chips were hit (first round and cold second round). The salsa was excellent. Ordered fajitas, a large amount of food, beans and rice came nice and warm. I recommend anyone to swing by. Staff was very nice and food came out quickly.

So you may recognize this building as the Country Kitchen, but it is not this no more. It is now El Charro. At 4pm the hostess was able to seat myself, my wife, and 2 of our children immediately at a booth. As you sit and look around it doesn’t really remind you of a Mexican restaurant. If it is, it’s the most modernized one I have ever seen. With hard wooden tables and black leather upholstery, it comes out to be very elegant and classy. Wouldn’t you know it, I came in during happy hour which was a $1 off all of their domestic beers! With the steak fajitas I had myself some corona. As the saying goes, “when in Rome…” haha Anyway, the food came out piping hot, fresh, and absolutely delicious. My hostess also became my server, and she was constantly on the move. Absolutely professional, made great suggestions, was so kind towards our family and patient as we all took a moment to look at the menu. I was very happy with our service and will absolutely come back to eat here. On the menu board in front of the host stand there is a special that goes on everyday.

Super cute. Nice vibe. I really appreciate this place. It's such a small town but we were looking for a nice breakfast spot. We got a table right away. You can rub the bear when you walk in. I really wish I could remember the waitress name.... She was so friendly and chatted with us like we were old friends. We were talking about our nails! They also have a singing chef. We could hear from the kitchen, which was actually nice. And the food was amazing! We all got the breakfast skillet but different; Irish Skillet, Veggie Skillet, Steak Skillet We will definitely visit again next time we're in town. Thank You.
