I was so disappointed by my experience here. Where do I start. I got the enchiladas verdes and I think every component of my plate was a miss. Positives first, I wasn't forced to eat it. The refried beans were, admittedly, the best part of the plate. They weren't that flavorful, but they get a pass because they weren't completely bland. The rice tasted particularly sour or astringent, I wasn't a fan. My partner characterised the taste as strange as well, so I know it wasn't just me. The enchiladas could have been good, and the flavor of the shredded chicken wasn't bad either. However the chicken was chewy and rubbery, overcooked. There's few things more disappointing than chewing on a rubber piece of chicken. I wasn't going to eat that, I have more respect for myself. All that said, I opted to return the plate as I barely touched it. I flagged down the waitress and informed her I was unhappy with my dish and asked her to please return it, as I don't want it. I even told her that I'd still pay for it, just take it away from me, please. What did she do instead? She disappeared. No kidding, I told her I wanted to return the food and she never came back. About 15 minutes passed, the waitress never came back. We sat at the table a little longer and she still never came back. My partner didn't really care for her food, either. We sat at a table full of food awkwardly until we just walked around to see if we could get our check. At the very least, they apologized and refunded us for the meal and I do appreciate that. I just didn't like how our waitress' response to a dissatisfied customer is to just disappear. It made a disappointing meal turn into a disappointing restaurant experience, and that poor service on top of a poor meal is what's primarily driving this 1-Star review.

We stopped through here on our way to the coast and had an excellent meal. I had the chicken tortilla soup and my husband had the steak fajita. Both were delicious and so much food! The waitress was super nice and helpful. The establishment was nicely decorated on had booths, tables and a bar. An open floor plan that allows you to see the kitchen! They also have a drive through that was busy. Parking is a bit tricky, and if you have a trailer or camper you have to be a little creative. But it’s worth it:)
