If you are on the I-5 or HWY 99 this is where we plan our lunch spot. The food is excellent and the people so warm and kind. I had the Enchiladas Trio: one cheese, chicken and beef. Each has a different sauce which perfectly accentuates each, the best combination I have ever had and I have had a lot of Mexican food in my life. The wife got from the special menu Enchiladas Morelia, hand made adobo tortillas with chicken, it was fresh, flavorful and fantastic! Highly recommend and we will stop here every time. (Update Enchiladas Morelia now on regular menu) Seasonally available: Champurrado! Never had it before, it’s excellent! Chocolate, nutmeg, corn masa, and more! Way better than a pumpkin spice.

It is very good, the chilly Colorado is not only spicy but good spicy. There Chilly Verde is also the same. This is a must visit when in Shafter.

Absolutely delicious! The staff was very accommodating and very friendly. The chips and salsa were fresh and warm. My daughter ordered a meal and the server made sure to let her know it was extremely spicy. I ordered the enchilada salad which was a huge portion, was so delicious.
