First time eating here in person. My husband has brought me enchiladas before, and they were delicious. On Tuesdays they have $3 margaritas. Surprisingly it was pretty good. I wasn’t super hungry, so I ordered a side of enchiladas. One beef and one cheese. They were good. My husband got Chili Colorado or something like that. Quite tasty. Ordered a tres leches cake to go. Ate half of it last night, and yummy. It did not disappoint. The staff was all friendly and our waiter was very nice and did a good job. I couldn’t believe how busy it was for a Tuesday night. It was almost full. They don’t have taco Tuesday, but they had $2 off fajitas. We will be back. The only downside is it was cold. Felt like the AC was on.

I had the birria tacos at El Monarca and they are the best I’ve ever had. The meat is super tender and full of flavor, and the tortillas are perfectly crisp on the outside. Each taco was loaded with meat and cheese, and nothing tasted dry or bland. The consommé that comes with the tacos is rich and savory and makes the tacos even better when you dip them. Everything tasted fresh and made right. The portions are good and the food came out hot. You can tell they care about the food they’re making. The balance of crispy tortilla, juicy meat, melted cheese, onion, and cilantro is perfect. Nothing is overdone and nothing feels cheap. I’ve tried birria tacos at a lot of places and these stand out. The flavor is deeper and the texture is just right. It’s the kind of food where you take a bite and immediately know you’ll be back again. If you like birria tacos or want to try them for the first time, El Monarca is worth the stop. Great flavor, great tacos, and easily the best birria I’ve had anywhere. I’ll definitely be back.

Great food and friendly service! This is my friends and my go to place for Nixa. These margaritas were a bit pricy, but also massive.
