My grandmother and I stopped here for lunch many months back... If you're not 100% sure what you're getting (like my grandmother, no offense), I recommend getting the quesedilla with any meat/protein. I've ordered myself 3 Al Pastor Tacos, and they were "chef's kiss". Not knocking or hating on Totopo (they use to sell 3 tacos instead of two for Pastor) and Emilianos but, I recommend this restaurant, especially on Brownsville Road, where I grew up.

The music was a little loud for my liking but other than that the restaurant was a vibe. Immediately greeted and seated. The glasses they use for drinks are really cool. Chips were perfectly done and the queso was good. For the price though a side of salsa would have been nice too. Got a carnitas quesadilla. And very happy they have shredded carnitas not the fatty hunky stuff like other restaurants. The chicken burrito was good as well. Meat was seasoned very well. Definitely a hole in the wall you wouldn't pay much attention to driving past but is a must to go if you stumble across it. Decently priced for the 2 of us. Also they do take out there so will be doing that since we live close by. The server was very friendly . Food came out hot and fast.

Fantastic southern mexico cuisine. Not your typical mexican, but a more refined and geographical localized gastro offering. Take advantage of this place. It might be a bit remote to get to, but worth it. I recommend dinner times if you want to see a crowd of locals. Food is all made from scratch, with genuine ingredients. Enchilada mole and tlayuda oaxaquena are the distinction that makes this place special. The desserts are also top notch, tres leches rum cake and flan. It's also great that they allow BYOB, they were so nice and served us the wine we had in wine glassed that they provided.
