Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

The servers were very nice and answered our questions. First time there and it was 7 of us. I got breakfast at night it was good. My husband got the fish plate he said it could have use a lot more season but it was fine. A very relaxing place to enjoy a meal.

We LOVED the asada fries, flavorful and made fresh. When it came to our entrees there were some things that could be improved. My food was warm, almost cold, except for the rice. It was piping hot. The flavor was good and very cheesy. The beans were perfect. The steak was cold, had a weird texture and not seasoned at all. The shrimp were too salty and cold as well. Again the rice was piping hot with this meal and the macaroni salad was delicious.I feel we overpaid for the quality of food. However we do love getting breakfast from here. Overall, certain items are a hit and miss.

So my first impressions this place is up and coming. I know it has been here for a while and I'm late to party but I was really happy with the value they added to this side of the city. It is what appears to be an old gas station and it kept me from trying it out for a while. Breakfast all day, this is your spot. That might sound wierd for a Latin (Guatemalan) style diner but that is an option. I had the chilaquiles red and green, and I preferred the red. I also sampled the quesabiria and it was on par with many other restaurants if maybe even a tad better. I will go back to try the other options because everything that walked by looked delicious. Sorry but the only pictures I got were of their salsa and it was dynamite and the birria quesodilla.
