We discovered El Tejocote Mexican Restaurant a few months ago and have been going back since! It is the best Mexican restaurant in the Hernando area. The food has great flavor and arrives hot to our table. We don't eat out a lot, but when we do, our go to now is El Tejocote! The service is good, the staff is very friendly, and the food is always flavorful.

We decided to give El Tejocote a try after getting burned out on all the local Mexican restaurants. We had a pleasant experience there. The cheese dip was good the chips were ok. I had the El Tejocote chimichanga and it was pretty good. My wife had a chicken and shrimp dish that was dang good. Everyone was happy with their food. The beer was ice cold but they don't have margaritas.

Their food is always very good and we never have to wait long. The service is good and friendly. We had the Polo Fundido or I think that is what it's called. So good
