Elegant Cuizines Restaurant

Enjoyed a dinner at this small restaurant with West African-influenced food. It's a family affair: Mom cooks, Dad bartends and manages, daughter is a waitress. Very pleasant people who made the meal itself more enjoyable. The food was good, and there were plenty of vegetarian and vegan options for the vegetarians in our party. Veggie rolls and turkey sliders were tasty appetizers. The salmon was a little overcooked but flavorful. The lavender cake dessert was interesting—a one-time experience, IMHO, but worth trying. The portions were good-sized, so we were able to take some home. The wines were reasonably priced. They do have a happy hour. (And they have a cheaper take-out menu posted on the door, see photo.) The one negative: while the restaurant was neat and clean, it felt like a converted storefront. The decor did not match the luxury of the food and the price point. The ambience was lacking.

Simply an AMAZING experience. The ambience was welcoming and soothing. The service was top notch. The food was WOW!!!… both in taste and aesthetics. The chef had the opportunity to come out and visit with us and it was a joy. I would recommend this place not only for delicious food but the feeling of walking away as if you have had the most relaxing experience. As one of my friends said, “ I feel like I just had a massage”. 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

Had a wonderful fancy vegan meal! The whole experience was fabulous start to finish. The vegan chicken was my favorite but the egg rolls with jack fruit were amazing too! The vegan crab cake was delicious! Will definitely be back. The owners Charles and Teresa were so kind and friendly. Great date night.
