Elubia’s Kitchen is a great, authentic Guatemalan spot in Isla Vista. It’s truly a hidden gem. I had the pupusas and they were excellent. Fresh and served the right way with incredible salsa. They also have really good combo options. You can tell the food is made with care and tradition. I will definitely be ordering some of their pickup catering options next time we have a big gathering at home - the prices are very reasonable. The best part is the family behind it. They are genuinely kind people, and that comes through in the experience. Elubia has created something truly amazing! Definitely worth stopping by.

Stopped in the other day, service is super friendly. Energy, owner was in the kitchen I could tell she is passionate about her place. Good vibes and energy an option for patio dinning or a small space inside. I waited a little longer than expected. It was fine. I was able to enjoy the beauty of sunny Isla Vista. The chicken burrito was pretty standard, fresh. Not as much cheese as I would like and the iceberg lettuce on the side was browning. Overall enjoyed my food. Great stuff and a glorious menu offering authentic Guatemalan food.

This place is SO good! I'm Nicaragüence and grew up eating authentic El Salvadoran pupusas in the Mission District of San Francisco where we have a dense Central American population. This place is a MUST try and will end up a regular destination if you like good Latin American food and good alcoholic cider! Did I mention the Santa Barbara Cider Co. which is right there partnering with Elubia's? Yeah.. This place is a hidden jem. It's tucked away in a small area behind some other businesses, so bring your hunting specs! Good luck! Don't miss out! 🤙🥂
