Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

The food was delicious! We got the 2-person meat and vegan samplers which each come with about 5 items. The injera was thinner than I was used to, which was great because you don’t get full as fast. The kik alecha and cabbage were especially good. We also got lentil and beef sambucas and those were just okay. We received our food in a perfect amount of time.

I’ve been here several times and absolutely love it. I always get the vegan platters. This place should sell more: packaged spices, cookbooks, cooking classes. It has a lot to offer even if seasonally or quarterly.

I have never tried Ethiopian food before but I have to say that I truly enjoy it. I will come back and I hope more people venture to taste new flavors. Atmosphere is calm and soothing.
