We decided to swing back into Eugene’s at Bottlehouse after being gone for a hot minute (or maybe a decade—time is fake). Walked in on a Saturday afternoon to find the place… let’s call it… exclusive. Like private event exclusive, except the event was just us and a bartender who appeared emotionally committed to her phone. Beer list? Massive. Like—could be its own novel massive. Execution? Ehhhhh. Wifey got the seasonal Christmas Ale that tasted like someone whispered “holiday spice” over the glass, and I ordered a hazy IPA that was definitely hazy, as in “might be hiding secrets.” I think having 30+ beers is cool, but after tasting them, I suddenly understand why restaurants have small menus: focus is a thing. Food time. We ordered: 🍔 Tinman Burger 🐔 Chicken Sandwich 🥒 Spiced Cucumber App (which translates to “things you could definitely make at home with stuff from aisle 3”) The Winner: Chicken Sammy. The sauce did the heavy lifting—like, CrossFit-level lifting. The Fries: Amazing. Crispy. Hot. Enough to feed the table, the next table, and a family of raccoons on the patio. Cucumber App: Good, but also gave strong “Pinterest recipe board” energy. All in all—did we leave hungry? Nope. Did we leave plotting our triumphant return? Also nope. Not bad, not unforgettable—just a solid “fed and watered” experience in the world of better options at better prices. Would I come back? Yeah, maybe… but I’d bring lower expectations and my own seasoning blend.

I recently had a Birthday Party for my son, and I'm so glad we went with Bottle House and Eugene's Kitchen. I have gone to Eugene's several times for carryout, and it has always been great. This was my first experience with their catering, and the food was consistently great! They were very attentive during setup and made sure all the trays were stocked throughout the party. I highly recommend their catering for your next party!

The restaurant is located on the back side of a bar/brewery. The food was great. A little expensive but worth it. We drove from Toledo just to try it. The bun on the smash burger was perfect. My husband thought the cucumber salad was different but okay. The fries were really good. Service was great as well. They bring the food to you when it is ready. Oh and the chicken tenders were the best.
