Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

I've been a loyal customer of FAD for the past 7 years, following them from Austell to their new location in Mableton. My go-to order is always their delicious goat meat pepper soup - I've tried other dishes, but this is always a winner. I've even ventured out to try other African restaurants, but FAD has always been my favorite. My visit to their new Mableton location on 10/31/2025, was a great experience. The goat meat pepper soup was just as good as I remembered, and it really hit the spot. The owner is super welcoming and talks to you with such kindness. Overall, I really enjoyed my meal and I'm glad they're still serving up amazing food in their new spot.

This is the worst Nigerian food and experience i have ever had. Used to having Ike’s Cafe and saw this place on my way home from work. Stopped by to try it. Went in there and no one to attend to me after sitting there for some minutes i banged the kitchen door and hit the bell before someone came out and attended to someone else before i walked up to place my order. I ordered yam pottage /Asaro for myself and ordered eforiro and pounded yam for my wife. I was even so excited that i saw the books of one of my client/oga from nigeria there. While waiting there the lady that ordered before me informed them that ordered some food last week for an event and it was spoilt - all i could do was pray i do not regret this. I got home, opened the pack and my wife’s food was egusi. I called and the response was if i could bring it back tomorrow. I said no let us just eat it. Quality and taste was 2/10 - interior of the place was lovely but that is where it stops. Had to trash it - was my first time and will never return.

*edit 9/26/25* The response that you were swamped with online orders when we were your only customers(2) and only one other man came in during the time we were seated and his order seemed pretty regular is even more reason we will not return. Not to mention we had to continue to yell to get any service. Very unhappy this was your stance. My husband and I strolled in here close to the opening time. We entered and stood around for what felt like 15 min. We finally decided to walk out and heard a woman's voice calling to us. Now usually for me its a no but my husband said come on let's go. Not the best decision but definitely not the worst. We sit down and it doesn't get any better. We get bottles of water. And stare at them menu. We ordered jolof rice fish soup and some beef appetizer. All we can say is the food was hot. Hot hot hot hot. The services was non existent and we have now concluded that it was an experience and we will not do it again.
