I ordered the one steak they have on the menu, medium rare. It was raw, not pink, Raw....or Super Blue. I said something to the server and she took the plate right away to fix it. Within five minutes she brought it back. Cleary the whole plate was put in a microwave in the kitchen. The cheese on the truffle fries was hardened when it returned and the small cup of ranch was now hot. I tried two more bites, asked for a box and that was my one and only experience. Extremely disappointed, but am happy to drive an hour to eat.

Update: They asked me to reach out and I left a voicemail over a week ago to the number I was given and have not heard back. Just because you are a small business does not mean paying customers need to excuse poor service and poor quality food. Don’t let small businesses guilt you into lying about your experience.Rehma’s coffee is an amazing small business I love to support. I recommend going elsewhere for date night. My review has been moved to 1 star due to very poor customer experience. I also would advise you to look at other reviews that are 1 or 2 stars as this owners response to reviews of poor service/food are narcissistic and they don’t like to accept criticism. Overall the experience was okay. The customer service provided by Nicole was amazing and she truly saved this from being a 1 star review with her amazing service. The salads were good as they are simple salads. Out of all the food on each dinner plate I was only impressed by the potatoes which were amazing and the carrots were the second best I have ever had!! I could eat them as a daily snack! I was not a fan of the beef Wellington it tasted kinda funny but my husband tried it and said it was okay. The layered potato was alright. The asparagus was unflavored and bland. The steak was alright. Overall our bill was $70 and we only really liked the salads and two sides. I’m kinda sad because MANY people recommend this place but I was only impressed by 4 out of 8 things served 2 being salads… My husband isn’t picky and he wasn’t impressed either.

I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich to go. I also ordered the mushrooms appetizer. The mushrooms were amazing and perfectly cooked. The chicken sandwich was hardly edible. The bottom bun was so burnt that I can't believe they put it in the box. The chicken sandwich itself was so dry that it was hard to chew. This is the second time that I've tried this restaurant. The first time, I didn't leave review but I contacted the owner and he recommended that I come back and try again. He offered to pay for a meal, but I wanted to just have the experience as a normal paying customer. Once again, a partial waste of money. The fries were good but the sandwich terrible. I think that the sandwich would be amazing if the people that worked in the kitchen actually cared about what they served to people. His recipes are well thought out and put together and I know he wants to be successful. It's also a sign of the times, it's hard to find hard workers and everybody is quiet quitting. That being said, I frequent another restaurant in town and they always cook the food perfectly.
