Frida’s Room in Pilsen is such a great spot! The service is excellent, and the food is delicious and very reasonably priced. Their café de olla is so good—and the best part is that they offer refills on both the regular coffee and the café de olla, which is a huge plus. If you go, make sure to ask for Maria (la Chiquita). She is super sweet and was constantly checking on our table to make sure we were taken care of. Her attention and kindness really made our experience even better. Highly recommend Frida’s Room for great food, great service, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere in Pilsen.

We came here for family brunch on Christmas Day since it was one of the few places open and taking reservations. The restaurant had a cozy, Mexican-inspired vibe. The food was decent, though not something I’d personally go out of my way to return for. However, everyone in my family enjoyed their meals and finished everything. This restaurant is so cutely decorated, with tons of Frida Kahlo Items everywhere. The service was impeccable. The food was very good, including the birra. The chicken sandwich and enchiladas verdes com huevos was also delicious. We ordered the Frida colada, which did not taste great. Perhaps the coconut milk had gone bad? Overall, I would recommend this restaurant for a fun and vibrant meal.
