Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

Mainly wanted to add this review so their full menu can be added for everybody to review, but must say their food and customer service was fantastic. The cheese enchiladas were very tasty. The beans and rice were delectable. Inhaled my plate. Salsa was good, very cilantro forward. Got the aqua de pepino (cucumber aqua Fresca) for my wife, and although it was a bit pricey, it was so refreshing. I took a sip, my wife chugged it. I need to figure out how to make that at home. I need to swing by one morning and try out their breakfast tacos. Customer service was wonderful.

Went for breakfast at 8am on a Saturday, place filled up quick. By 9 there were no more tables open. It is a small place with big flavor. These are some of the best tasting carnitas in Victoria mexican restaurants so far. They have good coffee and café de la oya. Home made tortillas de maiz and the flour ones were good but fall apart easily in a taco. Delicious chile de arbol hot sauce has a spicy authentic flavor. Pancakes tast like vanilla. I would definitely return.

Super great breakfast plates and breakfast tacos. Highly recommend for breakfast. Lunch and dinner offerings are good. Caldo de pollo was incredibly disappointing. Zero flavor. I was told they are trying to cater to local palates, but that’s not why people go to a Mexican restaurant. It appears as if the vegetables and chicken were added to steamed water. No one’s palate wants that. But the staff is great and the other food was awesome. Thankfully I had ordered a crispy taco and it was tasty! Mostly tables for four, but some larger groups were seated. Family friendly. Colorful. Pan dulce. Highly recommend! Clean bathrooms and plenty of parking (next to Academy.)
