The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, with country music playing outside and a friendly, easygoing crowd that gives the place a true hometown feel rather than a touristy vibe. The outside bar area is especially well done. It’s well stocked, comfortable, and a great spot to enjoy a cold drink while catching up with friends or just soaking in the evening. Whether you’re stopping in for lunch or easing into a longer night out, it’s a space that invites you to slow down and enjoy yourself. Our bartender, Bri, was fantastic — friendly, fast, and clearly knows her craft. The margaritas were absolutely perfect, balanced and refreshing without being overly sweet, which is harder to find than it should be. Service overall felt genuine and attentive without ever being rushed. The food easily matched the quality of the drinks. The fresh-made guacamole was incredible — easily one of the best we’ve ever had. You can taste the freshness and quality in every bite, and the rest of the food was just as impressive, arriving hot, well prepared, and full of flavor. If you’re looking for great food, excellent drinks, and a laid-back spot with a true local feel, Fuego Azteca is absolutely worth a visit. GREAT Mexican food restaurant! Traveling to Live Oak for work and what a treat after a long shift. Restaurant is well decorated and very clean. Staff are super friendly. Ms. Brie provided me with excellent service. All the food items were fresh and very tasteful. Overall great dining experience. Highly recommend. I will be a returning customer!

Spent a few days in Live Oaks, the first night had dinner at Fuego Azteca. Ordered a Steak Torta and Steak Tacos. The torta was big, the bread was soft and definitely fresh…..steak was seasoned very well, this was a very tasty sandwich!!! The Tacos were served with salsa verde that was slightly spicy and complemented the tacos seasoning, on some fresh corn tortillas that were very soft!!! We ordered from the bar Margaritas and a couple of Woodford Old Fashioned, all the drinks were very good!!! Awesome experience at Fuego Azteca!!!
