Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

I’ve been a frequent visitor here for years here but after this visit I don’t think I will be going back. I’m not a person that complains a lot, I’m easy to please. This place is clearly under new management. Ordered a fancy rainbow roll and as the name implies, there is 4 different colors of tobiko on top. There was only one so we mentioned it to our server. A man in sweat pants came to ask us about our concern and said he would bring it to the chefs attention, to which they responded they don’t make it like that they only have one kind. I suggested they change their menu because it’s false advertising. He never returned or apologized just said he would bring it up. I ordered a teriyaki steak box and wasn’t asked how I wanted the steak cooked upon ordering so I assumed it would be medium and was served very very rare steak. I didn’t want to be the constant complaining customer so we got out boxes and left when the opportunity arrived. The server did an ok job, that wasn’t the issue though. Food quality has gone extremely down hill and the lack of accountability for the menu discrepancy was off putting. Also $16 for a kids meal is insanity! No way to order a side of veggies for kids. Will not be back. Be aware if you order the steak teriyaki that you will be served raw steak (and I love a med rare!) took it home to cook some more myself. But after paying almost $90 for dinner for 3, I was left underwhelmed and disappointed for the lack of accountability the business took for false advertising. Hopefully this place gets to be like it once was because I’ve loved it for years. Guess we will be going to Wasabi from now on.

9 dollars for a side of chicken? Got two dinners and a mid sushi roll for 72 dollars. Save yourself the money and disapointment and spend it on some groceries and an ice cream for the family. A mcdonalds value meal provides better flavor and value compared to this place.

Great service on a Saturday night. Our waiter was nice & attentive! We didn't do hibachi so can't speak to that. Yakisoba was very salty, as well as the lobster order. We couldn't finish our food due to that. Otherwise it's the same as other hibachi sushi place, except our experience here was not worth over $200 bucks. Chef should do a taste test every now & then for balance.
