Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

I don't know about you, but I don't often have the opportunity to dip a light, crispy, fresh wonton into my mashed potatoes and gravy, pour soy sauce on some perfectly battered catfish, and pair General Tso's with home-made tasting Mac n cheese. Today, however, I did all of that and more. Frog legs and collared greens over lo mein. The Fusion is Strong with this one. I was a little unsure at first, but left completely whelmed in content and satisfaction. Service was superb, smorgasbord of selection, all was hot and fresh, and most of it was surprisingly delicious.

driving through Live Oak during lunch, my husband and I spotted Fusion Buffet and we had to stop. what a unique concept for a restaurant! we went in and immediately got seated at a booth. the food was what you would expect from a buffet, nothing special. it was about $13 per adult. definitely worth a stop once!

Nice very large buffet with American and Chinese food. They also have a salad bar and a dessert bar. Some of the items on the buffet were OK but not anything to write home about. The fried chicken and the pepper steak was delicious.
