Excellent place to get Detroit or tavern style pizza and a beer. They have a lunch special Wednesday - Friday 11-3 (I think) that includes a Detroit style, 2 bradsticks, and drink. This place is mostly carry out or dine-in, although they told me they do offer delivery through Toast or DoorDash. Their Detroit style pizza is assembled as such: crust, cheese, sauce, then toppings - which is a little unique and it works. Highly recommend.

We stopped by Futuro for dinner and ordered the Veglord, Chicken Limo, and Bacon & Basil (sans bacon). The pizzas came out looking awesome — thick, cheesy, and full of toppings. They had that golden crust you expect from Detroit-style pizza, but personally, I like mine a bit more on the caramelized side — that crispy, browned edge that makes you question all other crusts in life. Flavor-wise, the pizzas were really good. The Chicken Limo was probably the MVP of the night, while the Veglord held its own just fine. You can tell they use quality ingredients, and the dough had a nice chewy texture. The vibe of the place was more industrial — kind of like if Chipotle and a pizza joint had a cool, steel-beamed baby. Nothing fancy, but definitely comfortable enough to hang out and eat way too much cheese. The staff was friendly, and everything came out pretty quick. Overall, Futuro’s a solid pizza spot in Indy. Great flavors, chill atmosphere, and friendly service. If they ever take that crust from golden to full-on caramelized perfection, it’d be an easy 5 stars.
