First time here, 3-4 stars...had a party of 5 woman for a Friday night dinner at 6pm. Would recommend making reservations if you have a large party. No real dress code. The waitress was really nice, super knowledgeable about all the dishes we asked about and the favorites. We had lemon mafaldi, shrimp scampi, chicken parmesan, pesto rigatoni, garlic bread and frito misto appetizer. The lemon dish personally was mine, it was like a take on chicken alfredo but with fried chicken and a lemon cream sauce. I appreciate the portions because normally you have so much pasta you just want to keep eating it and it makes you sick lol but this had a good balance of the chicken with the pasta. It was good, I don't particularly like an overly lemony flavor and would have preferred a plane chicken alfredo but it wasn't bad. The fried calamari also had fried shrimp in it which was really good and it came with a delicious marinara sauce and aioli. Also I had a side Caesar salad, first time I ever had one with bacon in the Caesar dressing which was actually very good. One person had an Italian chopped salad, very colorful as noted below and flavorful. I really wish they would have a little bit bigger dessert menu and most specifically I wish they would have had cannolis, I look for that at every Italian place I go to! I think the prices were fair and standard for the area. Overall it wasn't bad per se, I just wouldn't say it's my favorite authentic Italian place I've ever been to.

Had a horrible experience here. We were seated in the back, on a chilly day. The "back" is technically a covered outdoor area. They had a few heaters set up, but the one near our table was un-lit. We were brought drinks, and then waited an unreasonable amount of time to have our order taken. 45 minutes later we still did not have food. We were all getting cold, and when we asked to light the heater, we were simply told there wasn't any propane. After almost an hour, I saw a table that had been seated well after we ordered, get served and were eating. Our waiter came out and asked how we were doing, we replied "cold and hungry. " He laughed and walked away. This is when we had to get the manager. He was very apologetic, and gave us updates, but admitted that our ticket had just gotten to the kitchen. My dish was luke warm and not very good, but it could have been because of how cold and angry I was. In any case, the others thought their dish was delicious. The manager kept his word and tried to make it right by cutting our bill in half, otherwise this would have been a single star review. We are from out of town, and most likely would never be back anyway, but Gabagool will go down in our book as one of the top ten worst dining experiences we've had.

Just happened to walk into the place on a Monday evening. We were immediately greeted and taken to the patio seating area. We had an extraordinary server by the name of Steven. He helped us narrow down our choices. The menu has so many amazing dishes that it was difficult to decide what to settle on. We ordered garlic bread first. My husband and I ordered the Braised Beef and Gnudi dinner and the Ribeye Marsala. Steven had our drinks brought to us quickly. Our meals came in a short period of time. I was actually amazed how fast because the restaurant was getting busier by the minute. They do not skimp on portions! We both had trouble finishing our meals. So good! We are from out of state so I doubt we’ll be through this way again but if we do - I’ll try one of the Homemade pasta dishes! On a side note: I ordered a Moscow mule and the bartender nailed it!!! Best one I’ve had in a while. My husband ordered the Italian Stallion drink and absolutely loved it!
