Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

Garden Cafe in Woodstock is an absolute gem! The place is super cozy and inviting, with a lovely outdoor seating area. This place is the perfect spot to relax and savor a delicious meal. The Buffalo tofu wings were absolutely incredible! They were spicy and crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and cover with a tasty magnificent sauce. I’ve had some really good vegan food, but these were definitely some of the “best” I’ve ever had ✨. I also tried the portobello panini, and it was amazing. Hearty, savory, and perfectly grilled with fresh ingredients. You can really tell they put a lot of care into everything they serve. Their tea selection is also worth mentioning. I had a fragrant herbal blend Mayan Chai that was so soothing and paired perfectly with the meal. If you’re looking for delicious plant-based food made it with love in a peaceful setting, this is the place to be. I can’t wait to come back! 🐶 Pet friendly 🌱 Organic Plant Based 👩🏻‍🌾Support Local producers ☀️ Outdoor & Indoor 🚫Non GMO 💜 You must try “Mayan Chai” pot of tea

Super cute cafe for plant-based food! I’ve been a vegan for 10 years, and I rarely see a place bustling like this place was on a Sunday at 2pm. Luckily we were seated right away. Our waitress was very nice and careful with any allergies we listed. As for the food - we got the tempeh BLT on whole grain and the portobello mushroom panini on focaccia. Side salad and potatoes were excellent. The BLT was very delicious but fell apart easily. The panini was disappointing - the focaccia bread wasn’t really focaccia. It tasted like thanksgiving stuffing and was dense. The sandwich components tasted bland as well, and we thought it needed something else to hold it together (like a vegan cheese). We also got the seasonal apple cake for dessert - absolutely delicious! The cafe is dog friendly which was amazing. Our pup was able to sit inside with us (I spotted three other dogs during our lunch there). My only complaint about the physical space was that it was super hot inside even though it was a crisp fall day outside. They needed to turn on the AC or open the door. Overall a great spot for a quick bite.

Spectacular. The only problem with this place is that there’s too much delicious food to choose from! We indulged in the cashew brie special appetiser and it was easily the best vegan cheese I’ve ever eaten! Photos are from our visit 10/10/25
