We LOVED our evening here. My friend and I came in for a drink and then met our other friends for dinner, but we CAME BACK after dinner to hang out and grab another drink and dessert. We really enjoyed Gardina’s. The wine shop is AMAZING, too. If you are a wine lover, build in some time to check out their retail area. It is full of great wine options that you can’t just find everywhere. It is marvelous! My Apple Cider Sidecar was amazing, and my friend loved her Vanilla Chai Mule. I also had their seasonal French 75, which was yummy too! Our waiter was extremely nice and fun to chat with! She was helpful and kind. We really loved this place, and if I ever return to Oshkosh, I will also return here!

The duck was phenomenal! And everything is always fresh with a great drink selection. I was so happy to see clearly labeled gluten free options as well; the gluten free lava cake was amazing. The staff is always very friendly and the vibe is warm and inviting. It’s become one of my regular spots and I highly recommend especially if you’re a wine enthusiast 😊

My husband and I have eaten here in the past and we were excited to take our friends here for restaurant week. They have lived in the areas for years and never ate here. We came in group of 6 adults 2 children and asked a young man working if we could sit up by the windows he was immediately annoyed and short with us. The place was DEAD it was a little after 11:00 on Saturday January 31st. He asked if we had reservations we stated no and he told us we had to sit back by bathrooms..a little rude but no big deal. As we were sitting down he said they are only servicing restaurant week food again no big deal that’s why we came. When he came back to ask about drinks we asked if they were able to make anything for the kids or had any options or sides/smaller portions for the kids. The waiter was extremely unprofessional and rude saying ma’am I already told you this is all we are serving and it’s already made there’s nothing I can do. The tone, hand gestures, and just straight up rudeness was horrible. Not even a let me talk to chef and see if there is anything we can do -plain noodles, fries, plain chicken…anything child friendly. We got up and left and as we were leaving told us we own ruby owl so go over there if you want a full menu..so rude and off putting. After that experience we will never be returning to either Gardinas or Ruby Owl and our friends who had never been in or ate at Gardinas will never be back or even think about going there.
