Garibaldi (Apopka) Mexican Restaurant & Bar

Visited here with family during my first trip to Florida. The restaurant has a very welcoming atmosphere with an impressive layout. We were seated quickly, drinks were ordered, and chips and salsa came out promptly. The salsa was decent—one person found it spicy, but I didn’t. Coming from Oklahoma, I noticed some regional differences. Items that are typically standard back home, like flour tortillas and a traditional relish tray, aren’t part of the usual setup here. The staff was friendly, though there was a slight communication barrier. The food was well presented, cooked properly, and my entrée turned out better than expected. I skipped dessert, as complimentary sopapillas (common where I’m from) aren’t offered. Overall, a solid place for a family meal. It didn’t fully match my usual expectations for Mexican food, but that seems more about regional style than food quality.

Loved it here. First time and will not he the last. Everything was so good! Atmosphere was fun and wait staff was very tentative but not over bearing!

The food was delicious and full of flavor! The service was really good — everyone was friendly and helpful. The drinks were just okay, but overall I had a great experience. I’ll definitely come back for the food! 🌮🇲🇽
