Wow! This place was amazingly unpleasant. First it was unmaintained, bars of food were dirty and some empty. The floor had food and the ice cream area was dripping away and dirty. Staff didn’t really interact with us but not much to say other than the place was in need of serious organization and cleaning. I give it a one star because there’s nothing less.

Avoid this Golden Corral at all costs. 600 N 11th St, Gallup, NM 87301 This place shouldn’t even be using the Golden Corral name. Here’s what you actually get: 1. I asked for $10 cash back — they gave me $5 and claimed the other $5 were taken as “tips.” That’s not tipping; that’s taking money without consent. 2. Dirty tables everywhere. Not “busy” dirty — neglected dirty. 3. The buffet selection is barely half of what a real Golden Corral offers. 4. At 11 AM, right when they opened, some trays already had yesterday’s leftovers. Completely unacceptable. 5. The food quality isn’t even in the same universe as the actual Golden Corral standard. This location is a complete failure. Do yourself a favor: stop at a gas station and grab a sandwich. It will be cleaner, fresher, and more honest than what they serve here.
