My wife and I were wanting a diner experience on our way to continue our weekend adventures here in Eureka! We walked in, and immediately noticed the atmosphere seemed to be a little grungy and was a typical hole in the wall spot. What was appalling to us was how expensive things were considering how not elevated the atmosphere was. Eggs Benedict were $21, nearly everything was at least $20 in fact! For comparison, this place is about five dollars more expensive than the diner one and a half miles up the street. And the diner that’s up the street is much nicer and I would say would have the right to charge more yet they don’t! The manager at this location told me that he agreed the prices were way too high, but we didn’t have to eat there. My wife and I agreed, and we started to leave when the manager became passive aggressive with me. I asked for his name because I was going to call later and complain and he wouldn’t give it. Just very unfriendly staff. I’m sure they get this a lot which makes this very sad. I would not recommend this place at all. There’s absolutely nothing about the place, including food quality that justifies the price. Avoid this location if at all possible and instead go eat at Eureka village cafe! That’s where we went right after and boy was it amazing! We also left a review at that place if you want to go look at it!

Great food and service. The vibe is cozy. They always have great specials. We got the Nevada and the Golden toast nuggets with Nutella.
