Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

What an amazing place. having moved here 7 months ago, we were craving a cold beer and some seafood, and boy did we get lucky. We sat outside , with a cool breeze and nice big fans, and a cold beer and margarita for my wife. The food was amazing and the staff were even more amazing! We had the deviled eggs, ceviche, scallops, and cheese curds for starters, and boy was everything 5/5! I had the red snapper, which was so good my 8 year old son kept stealing it, even thought he had a big kids burger and fries! The oysters were super fresh and delicious also. my wife had the wings, which she reluctantly let me try, and yes, also amazing! We’d forgotten we also ordered the tacos and dddddamn they were devine! My daughter devoured her chicken salad wrap and my son’s burger was huge and juicy! Narahy, and Destini were also amazing, and very tentative. Always making sure we had drinks and the kids sodas were always full, and also checking in on the food. We also had management stop by, Scott checked in to make sure everything was up to standard. I’ve been in Texas for 7 months and eaten at most places, but this is by far my favorite experience. you feel like you belong here, and it’s truly genuine and the food is so damn good! Totally unexpected and super appreciated! Oh wait…. the friggin desserts! I went to the rodeo cook-off on Friday and tried the fried oreos I kept hearing about, they weren’t all that. this place does these fried oreos they will blow your mind! we are going back to the rodeo in a week and i won’t ever order them there, only here. and the key lime pie goes so so well with a coffee. 5 star service, 5 star food. Came for dinner. The previous times we were here we had a great time and the food was amazing. This night's dinner not so much. To start, we were told to wait 10 to 15 minutes even though there were empty tables in both sections of the place. It seemed strange but we were fine with waiting. Staff was very nice and friendly but it took some time for them to take our order. The burger was delicious as usual but the onion rings were off. The batter was too sweet. It tasted like beignet batter fried onion rings. Not good. The chicken and sausage gumbo was way too salty and there was barely any rice in the gumbo. Maybe that's why it was way too salty. The cornbread was good but it did not go with the gumbo. It was too sweet and the gumbo too salty. Crackers or more rice would have been better. Today's visit did not deserve a 4 star but I am basing it on previous visits that was good.

Oh my goodness the Tiki Burger is amazing and the Mac n Cheese is to die for. Christina was our waitress and she was very knowledgeable about the menu. She was also amazingly attentive. The Pretzel with cheese dip was also amazing but put us over the edge! We always split a meal and it was plenty of food for the hubs and I.
