Food was totally fine, happy with the portion sizes. I got the shrimp awaze, partner got zilzil keywot. Only downside was the service was a little slow this time. We waited for awhile after ordering drinks to have our food order taken.

This was our second time trying Ethiopian food, and we’re getting more used to the slightly sour wrap and the unique flavors of the main dishes. The sides—Gomen and Misir Alecha—were tasty, but the real highlights were the entrées. The Gored Gored beef and Awaze Tibbs lamb were well seasoned, tender, and juicy. The Shrimp Awaze was a bit spicier than our usual preference, but still enjoyable when eaten with the wrap.

One of our absolute favorite places in Durham!! The food is amazing, staff is knowledgeable and quick. The patio is great. The owner is also always so kind and welcoming. We are always looking forward to our next trip back!
