Gotji has some creative fusion dishes that sound very intriguing so we definitely need to come back to explore more of what they have to offer! The Best Pad Thai ($18): Thai-style stir-fried rice noodles with egg, dried sweet radish, chili, garlic, crab meat, bean sprouts, and chives, topped with fried tempura shrimp, crispy shallots, tobiko, peanuts, and lime. I love pad thai, and this version delivered! The flavors were quite concentrated, so I recommend mixing the noodles thoroughly before eating. While the shrimp tempura was crunchy with a nice batter, I personally prefer the traditional proteins — beef, chicken, pork, or tofu. BBQ Brisket Clay Pot ($19.50): A Thai-Chinese style clay pot featuring garlic, ginger, smoky brisket, onion, mushroom, Thai jasmine rice, green onion, sweet soy sauce, and chili garlic sauce. The combination didn't quite work for me and I wasn't a fan of the flavors, though my husband absolutely loved it. It's not as flavorful as the pad thai so we had to use the sauce they provided.

Absolutely my favorite local Thai place. The best item is the larb angus beef. Bacon fried rice is so delicious, too. The best pad Thai is another option that never disappoints. Honestly can't go wrong when ordering from here. The service and food is so consistent and amazing, we had Gotji's cater my wedding. Compliments all around.

Some of the best authentic Thai cuisine we have ever had was at a family owned restaurant in NC. Nothing has quite compared to their food and spice. With that, we slept on this place for some time but finally took the plunge this past weekend. We ordered online and food was ready when they said it would be for pick up. The food smelled and tasted amazing. The portions are generous - my littlest and I had left overs for the next day, unlike my husband and teenage son whom of course finished theirs. My only suggestion is maybe a little more spice in the pad Thai dish but that’s solely my preference and in no way reflects poorly on this dish. We will for sure order again in the near future as we have found our new Thai place! (We also ordered the Pad See Ew but it was eaten before we could snap a photo.)
