Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

Did a to-go order for Veg fried Rice since my colleague had recommended. The portion was good but the rice was way undercooked. Not sure but might go back to see how other items taste.

I visited this place for the first time, but I really didn't like it. The rice was undercooked, as were the vegetables, and the portion was very small for the price they charge, $15... I don't recommend it!

We eat here a lot. It's always a pleasure to talk to Joy, the owner, while her husband, the chef, is hard at work making your meal. Everything thing we order here is good. Try the fried wonton with meat and garlic sauce, you won't be disappointed. When your food arrives ask for some chili paste on the side. They make the best, and some of the hottest chili paste in Houma. If you're adventurous, tell Joy to make it spicy when it's cooked. Don't worry, there's a snowball stand right outside to cool you off.
