Grand Lux Cafe instantly reminded me of The Cheesecake Factory in the best way. The menu is huge with lots of classic favorites, and everything we tried was spot on. We ordered the chicken Caesar salad, buffalo wings, and a cheeseburger, and all of it was fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. The portions were generous too. Our waitress was incredibly friendly and helpful, which made the whole experience even better. Overall, great food, great service, and a really comfortable vibe. We will definitely be back!

First time to a Grand Lux Cafe although a longtime fan of The Cheesecake Factory. Both are near each other so I decided to see what the difference was. The atmosphere looks and feels the same. The menu is smaller so it’s not overwhelming. I narrowed my options to three and let my super awesome server Jose T pick for me. He recommended the Salmon Three Ways and enjoyed all three styles. The center one prepared with the mushrooms blew me away. It was scrumptious. Perfectly cooked pieces delicately slid away as I polished it off. The plate was nice as it gave a little asparagus, green beans and mushrooms. The salmon was unexpectedly good, especially as Grand Lux is a chain. But their chef knows what he was doing and could work anywhere IMO (and I’m a city slicker). The salmon was so good that I forgot to mention that a generous portion of bread was served before the meal - it was PIPING HOT! Fresh out of the oven🍾. It was so hot that it actually melted the (properly) refrigerated butter 🔥. Due to chilly rain I got to park right in front and I thought because I arrived near closing time that the staff might be tired and food not as good but I was proven 100% wrong. They nailed it. I’ll be back.

I needed to leave this fantastic review for grand lux cafe at garden city. I placed a pick up order for lunchtime an hour early. My food was still warm. Secondly i ordered the peppercorn steak bento box with Parmesan and garlic fries and the chicken creamy soup. The steak melted in my mouth i ordered medium cook. The mushrooms were cooked to perfection. Did i mention the food sat for an hour!!!!??? The fries were still crunchy and delightful. The soup was so flavorful i drank it like a juice didn’t use a spoon! I was aggravated from my work day i added an Arnold Palmer to my order. The drink was taking forever it seemed. The service was so wonderful as soon as i was about to ask about why the drink was taking so long the young lady came out with a drink so refreshing i wish i had ordered two! She honored the lower price for me for the iced drink and said there may have been a mistake in their system as she had never saw that price before. She turned my frown upside down! This was my first experience at Grand Lux and it will not be my last!!! Thank you to the fine chefs and service associates there for keeping great attitudes even when the public’s are not so kind.
