After Many trips driving down 164th, I have always spotted the Greek Gyro Guy with a delightful space, food cart and outdoor seating. Finally made it out to stop in and try a spread of their goods! My friend and I were very hungry and excited to have a spread of fun Mediterranean food. One of us is Vegan so Dennis perfectly tailored the meal to our food preferences. This restaurant is family owned and operated by Dennis and his Wife. They make everything fresh to order, and the taste and food is definitely made with care and great! We decided to get two Mediterranean plates and a double chicken Gyro for our helper on our project. Dennis was a delight to speak with and chat while we were waiting for him to build our order. He took great care and attention to detail and we loved the sweet Baklava which we ate as we waited for our meal. Food prep and turnaround was quick and it’s quite nice to have a Drive Through option to enjoy our A/C while the food was being made. There is a Gas station next door if you need a top up while waiting for your food and there are tables to enjoy your meal with any size of group. Kid friendly too. If you are ever in the area and in need of a delicious, healthy and fulfilling meal of Greek cuisine, I highly recommend a visit to The Gyro Guy. First time getting food here, and I really enjoyed my meal. I called in ahead, and it was prepped very quickly. The lamb was hot and fresh, and the tzatziki sauce was awesome! The staff are also very kind and friendly. I'll definitely be coming back here.
