I’ve been to Greece four different times, and I can tell you right now — Greek Islands gets as close to authentic Greek food as you can possibly get without boarding a flight to Athens. The food was simply amazing. The chicken kebabs were perfectly seasoned, juicy, and grilled exactly the way they do it overseas. And the Mediterranean chicken with rice Wow. Full of flavor, tender, and seasoned in a way that instantly brings you back to a seaside taverna. Every bite tasted fresh no shortcuts here. The calamari was so fresh, I could’ve sworn Poseidon brought the octopus in himself. Lightly breaded, perfectly fried, and incredibly tender — not rubbery at all. That’s how you know it’s the real deal. The restaurant was super busy, and honestly, I could tell why. When a place is packed like that, it usually means one thing: they’re doing something right. The aesthetics of the restaurant are super cool too — it has that vibrant, warm Greek vibe that makes the whole experience feel authentic and lively. I enjoyed my dinner. This was my first time at this location. I had the branzino, fileted tableside, along with potatoes, the tomato salad, and the avgolemono soup. Everything was delicious. Unfortunately, my friend's swordfish steak was overdone and dry. We received complimentary desserts. The service was friendly and attentive.

Truely authentic food, atmosphere, and experience! Manager George is truely professional and his staff and kitchen are some of the best in the business!! Always a good time at the Lombard location!! 10 Stars!!!
