Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

12/5(in response to your response) Not entirely sure of who you’re referring to, however the cashier spoke highly of your items while I was there. This is actually brand new news of the termination to myself and to the public being that this is a public review and you’re publicly disclosing/broadcasting a private fact about your former employee. I’m sure this would be offensive to whoever you’re referring to. Your response also violates Google’s content policies. I’m speaking to my genuine and personal experience with YOU and the inedible food. In return, you’re using the review platform to discuss internal personnel matters which is off topic to everything I said. _____________________________ The energy isn’t welcoming, particularly from the older lady, had some bias towards certain customers I read energy very well. The cashier was very informative and relatable which I appreciate. It’s a very stiff, morbid, and hostile environment. There’s also not much “greens” options available. I’ve had many vegan meals at various establishments and I honestly couldn’t tell the difference with vegan food and regular food because of how good it was and the similar quality. I’m a fan of all kinds of food. However, I can’t say that about this establishment. I can guarantee no one can name what kind of food is in the picture provided, reward available. It was terrible and the after taste lasted a lifetime I’m scared to burp. EEEYUCK. Overly sure no one would have enjoyed that, vegan or not. I tried adding everything I could from salt to pepper to hot sauce and it couldn’t be saved. I was only accommodated after the older lady was invading my privacy of looking at my phone seeing me leaving a review, which made me uncomfortable. Prior to that, apparently nothing could have been done because there was “nothing wrong with the food except that I simply didn’t like it”. Every food place you go to, if something is wrong or you “simply” don’t like something they offer you something else or refund you. I also tried my friends food hoping for it be better and the bacon wasn’t even biodegradable. Couldn’t chew through it or swallow it. The food overall tasted fake and like replicas of food. Felt like I was eating toy food to be honest, still in disbelief by the way. I wish I had better things to say because I love food and based on certain responses in the reviews, it further confirms that the energy I felt wasn’t wrong. I hope this establishment tries to learn and be accountable for the simple fact that the food sucks and that’s no one’s fault but their own. God doesn’t like ugly and time will tell. Nothing bigger that I can teach than life isn’t. Be blessed

The cubano and the curried cauliflower soup were both super tasty, the optional complementary pita was fried on the grill with a bit of oil so it had a nice crunch to it in places while it was pleasantly tender elsewhere. The buffalo chick’n wrap was kind-of a dud. If you love raw-ish kale, it might be your thing, but it seemed uncomfortably salty. (I know Frank’s is somewhat salty, but I don’t think it’s THAT salty on its own) also, raw onion, so just be forewarned. If you’re “still coviding” There aren’t any outside tables here. But there’s a Wendy’s across the street with some tables if you want to be sneaky. I didn’t scope out the Panera in the same shopping center. But they might? Otherwise, there are benches in the alcove. Without tables. (Which I probably don’t recommend sitting at, considering both sandwiches were drippy and greasy. A surface is very necessary.) I asked to have my water bottle refilled, one worker just wordlessly shook her head no (as if it was policy) while the other worker said it was fine. The bathroom sinks are somewhat shallow, so I guess make sure to have a short cup with you in case you get denied. Speaking of the bathrooms. They use extremely smelly commercial air freshener. If you’re the type of person whose tastebuds glom onto fragrance, you might want to bring a mask for the bathroom. Or better yet, avoid the bathroom completely. Make sure to have enough water on you so you don’t have to do this whole song and dance.

We are huge Greens and Grains fans, and this is hands down our favorite location. The staff is always pleasant and helpful, and we haven't had a bad dish yet. My current go to meal is the tofu scramble pita with Sriracha tahini and avocado, while Pete is loving the spicy chik'n sandwich with sweet potato fries. In a time when going out to eat ANYWHERE is a luxury, Greens and Grains is a safe haven for a fresh, delicious, meal that leaves us satisfied. 😊💚
