This. Place. Was. Guuuuddd!!! Not gonna lie, i was not expecting the overall experience. The lady working the counter was super nice. The environment was a vibe & everything everywhere was very clean. But THE FOOD, though! I had vegetable stew w/peas & rice, & a patty with the coco bread. Wife had curry chicken i believe. Everything was served piping hot & loaded with comforting flavor! The flavor in that beef patty alone was enough to keep me coming back again & again!! Even the bottled tea that they sell there is delicious! Can't say enough about this spot! I'll definitely be spending mo money here & introducing my friends!!

Always a pleasure to know that when I come to Gud Food I will be greeted by a welcoming smile by the beautiful Miss Sherrise and Mr. Roland’s grin ha! Not to mention the consistently delicious food of course! The chicken curry patties are my absolute fav and the beef ones are the best I’ve had in Houston. The jerk chicken is hard to beat and they also have lunch specials M-F. They have happy hour on Fridays too, so they can just take all my money!

Incredible food with just the kindest lady at the counter. The jerk chicken and the oxtails are to die for, with some incredibly generous portions on top of it all. The plantains are so sweet and soft as well. This place is a hidden gem people, go!
