Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

Called and came in last hour first time trying this restaurant. The staff and manager was very friendly and greeted us right away. We ordered our food and everything came fast and tasted delicious. The restaurant decor is cute and relaxing. Such a great experience and treated very well. Great Punjabi food :)

This is not a Guru for Indian cuisine unless they mean they are a guru of salt and no flavor with watered down condiments. So let’s start talking about when you first walk in the place is so dark. I’m all about ambient lighting, but this is just no lighting and makes me wonder what you’re hiding service if I was told once by the cashier number one to sit at the table with the pictures, I was told 20 times I wasn’t even allowed to finish my order when she kept interrupting me to sit down and I got my food to go. So let’s talk about the food. I ordered a coconut soup advertised as cream, sweet and spicy coconut soup. No, this was a coconut milk with coconut flakes and sugar no spice nothing creamy. I ordered Keema Samosa. This was Samosa supposed to be filled with aromatic Indian spices, but was instead filled with Salt in a touch of fennel. No curry no coriander no onion. Nothing to give you that great flavor you should get with Keema. I could almost forgive that except for it generally comes with Tamarind chutney And I guess that’s what they said they gave me. I call it water. The jetty was so watered down. It was liquid. I only got a 1 ounce container that was not full for two pieces of Samosa. The kheer again was a watered down mess. Running liquidity one note sweet lacking any Cardamom the flavor was just bland. I expect Indian food to be pricey. I expect this because it’s generally good. I would not give this place another penny of my money and highly advise. No one else to give their hard earned money To this type of restaurant because they are cutting corners watering things down cutting out spices omitting flavors giving very stingy 3 ounce portion of “soup” for $7 . Yes, literally that is all you got 3/4 of a 4 ounce container of soup that was nothing as advertised in their description of the soup.

My husband and I visited this Indian restaurant and tried a few of their popular dishes, including Pakoda, Bhatura, Aloo Chole (with rice), and Chai. The Pakoda and Bhatura were fresh and crispy, and the Chai was good. The Aloo Chole was spicy, and the consistency could have been a bit more gravy-like. The portion sizes were sufficient and the flavors overall were okay - nothing that blew us away, but not bad either. They could have had Chole- Bhature together as a dish. The ambience was simple, yet clean and neat, and the service was prompt. One thing to note is that the price came out to be around $38 plus tip, which felt a bit on the expensive side for the items we ordered. If you're visiting the Cincinnati/Kentucky region and looking for Indian food, it's a decent option. Rating: 3.5/5 stars
