The food was great. Huge servings. Just an amazing place we found near where we were staying. The flavors of the food mixtures were incredible. They have their bakery on site and all of the bread, cookies, pasties, and other desserts are made from scratch. The burrito I had was so good and my wifes sandwich a complete meal.

I came during Restaurant Week for their specials, but honestly, I’ve been to Gypsy Joint several times and this place never disappoints—no matter what you order. One of the things that really sets them apart is that they have a bakery on site. They make their own desserts and even bake the bread for their burgers, which truly takes everything to another level. You can taste the difference. And let me just say… the Yippee Yahweh Burger is so good that it’s basically the only thing I ever get. It’s that good. Every single time. If you’re a burger lover, this is a must. Food tasted excellent and staff was very friendly. Lots of artwork and pieces around to look at while seated. We come here now almost every time we’re in Galveston for breakfast
