Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

Super delicious and flavorful overall, and great options for vegans (like me). They have a whole separate vegan section and even have plant-based beef options. The gluten-free teff injera was also super tasty and spongy. Guy who worked there/served us was wonderfully warm.

I ordered the Vegan Combo and it was delicious. When you come into Habesha the atmosphere is warm and inviting and the staff were riendly. The food came out quickly and the plating was great. My favorite things were the yellow split pea, Spinach & Collard Greens, and Cabbage Potatoes & Carrots. I highly recommend and I would definitely come back.

Delicious Eritrean food, clean space, and great service. The owner talked with us and was so warm and accommodating to our requests. Beautiful, smart and unique presentation of the food, and with a diverse menu compared to similar other restaurants. I really enjoyed the cozy atmosphere and I could see myself back here for work meetings. Top notch restaurant experience and happy to support this small business.
