⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Hacienda Real in Yorkville is hands down one of the best Mexican restaurants in the area! The food is absolutely delicious — everything tastes fresh, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. From the chips and salsa to the main dishes, you can tell they put care into every plate. The service is just as impressive. The staff is friendly, attentive, and makes you feel welcome from the moment you walk in. Our server was quick, helpful, and made sure we had everything we needed. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with a great vibe that’s perfect for a family dinner, date night, or even a casual night out with friends. Overall, great food, great service, and a great atmosphere. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Based on the Google reviews, I was excited to try the place. 4.7 out of 3.5k reviews, heck yeah! Shortly after being seated, it just started to go downhill. I ordered an iced tea. They were completely out at 615p and wouldn't be brewing more. We probably had 5 different employees visit our table with different items throughout the evening. Drinks took quite a while. Our server disappeared regularly, so it was hard to get things that we needed, like our kiddos meal that was forgotten about. Flagged down an employee, who was probably a manager. Asked her to look into and she returned and said a fryer was down, so that's why it took so long. It was brought out a couple mins later. She did take the item off the bill, which was quite nice. Nachos with steak... yum. They were great. The rest of the food was decent/okay. Drinks weren't kept on top of. At the end of the night, I wanted to try it because I saw an ad for the new Bolingbrook location, so thought to try the Yorkville location, since it was the closest to Lockport. Would I make the drive again? No. Will I try the new Bolingbrook location a few months after it opens? Probably. Gonna wait until the teething phase is over though. At the end of the night... Was it an off night that we experienced? Likely so.

Ashley is hands down one of the best bartenders I’ve experienced! She asked all the right questions and created a custom drink that was perfect for me. Not only was the cocktail phenomenal, but her vibe and hospitality made the night even better. 10/10 recommend!
