Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

Was in town for a business trip. Decided to try Han’s Kitchen because a hot bowl of Pho sounded good on a cold winter night. Boy was I right. I decided on the potstickers in pho broth and a mango smoothie. The broth was so flavorful and the onions and cilantro complimented it so well. The mango smoothie was delicious and paired so well with the pho. If I lived anywhere around here I would absolutely be a regular.

Ohhhh my god. I've been wanting to go to Han's Kitchen ever since I came to Northfield five months ago, and tonight was the night! I've never had Vietnamese cuisine before and let me tell you, Han's Kitchen was SO, SO good. PLEASE go here if you can. I ordered at a kiosk, was given a table number, and had my food carried out to me. I ordered their classic pho with sauces/spices on the side as well as the hot coffee. I'll start with describing the coffee first. The robusta beans were freshly brewed right in front of me and had such a distinct, deep, bitter, earthy taste. There was a kind of sweet milk you could stir into the coffee, though, and it was soooo good! The pho was the real star of the show, though. The greens, including but probably not limited to cilantro and what I'm assuming is green onion, blended with the beef broth so well and left an AMAZING aftertaste in my mouth that I'm still feeling as I write this. The beef strips and the meatballs were obviously good as well— the meatballs especially were better than crack. Also, the hoisin sauce was incredible when mixed in with the pho... I've never had anything like it and I kind of wish I bought extra to take home with me. Speaking of taking things home with me, I had a lot of leftovers because the portion sizes here give you a lot of bang for your buck. Overall, I rate this place a perfect 10/10! If I had more money, I'd go here every week! If I can, I'd like to come again at least for my birthday, it's just that good.

At first glance you wonder if you are at the right location. You walk in and are met with a divider to the eagles club. Follow the divider and you are met with the cutest little starter pho location. You are met with this card board cut out of the owner and a sign that says "if you are shorter then me, enjoy a free soda on us." You order your food at a kiosk with a sight straight into the kitchen to watch the magic happen. The food is AMAZING! The service is INCREDIBLE! The owner brings you out all of your dishes with a smile on her face everytime! And even comes around to ask you how everything is tasting. Spring rolls, Pho, potsticker pho! All amazing! The only caveat is unlike other pho locations where the sides for your pho is at the table for self serving you do have to order them as extras with your pho. But to support this wonderful locally owned business is a price im willing to pay for those sides. 10/10 will be coming back here!
