Hark Bakery

Hark Bakery provided the cake and desserts for our September wedding, and they were a complete showstopper. Everything was fantastic. As my partner Ken noted, there wasn’t a single bite left over. His only regret was that we didn’t order more! Bakery co-owner Lisa Neumann was helpful during our tasting and accommodated our timeline perfectly. We chose Hark specifically for their expertise in vegan and gluten-free baking. It made hosting so much easier; we had a dozen guests with various dietary needs (vegan, GF, and lactose-intolerant), and everyone could enjoy dessert together without worry. We couldn't narrow down our choices after the tasting, so we went with two flavors: * 𝐋𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐧 𝐓𝐰𝐢𝐬𝐭: Vanilla cake with lemon buttercream and custard. * 𝐖𝐞𝐝𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐓𝐰𝐢𝐬𝐭: Almond cake with vanilla buttercream and raspberry jam. Both were delicious and beautifully decorated with edible dried flowers. We also served mini lemon tarts, hazelnut chocolate mousse cups, and salted chocolate chip cookies, all of which disappeared instantly. Thoughtful, inclusive, and truly delicious. We’ll definitely be back for future celebrations!

Cute place with so many very, very exciting options! The gal at the counter was extremely welcoming and helpful. She let me ask a few questions, and even gave some recommendations! I am so excited that there is a gluten free place with such fun options, and some unique items as well, such as homemade pop tarts! (Even the inside jammy filling is homemade!). I bought a variety of items to take home and try, and so far so good. The tastes and textures were solid, but not 100% there for me, but still 90% (which is still an "A" in my book). This could be because although I have to eat gluten free, I am not vegan, and sometimes textures and flavors are different (people who aren't gluten free say the same thing when things aren't glutinous!). I had a great experience though, and I will definitely be going back!

Hark did such an amazing job on our wedding cake and mini desserts!! My sister has celiac so we wanted a safe option for her. We loved the fun tasting, the cake was delicious, and we loved working with Lisa. Thank you so much!!
