There are many breakfast spots in the Westmont/Downers Grove/Darien area but Harvest Pancake is one of the best. The atmosphere is wonderful with nice booth seating in comfortable chairs, some TVs for sports and a classic pancake house vibe with top notch service. For the food, the offerings are wonderful with large waffles and pancakes, tasty bacon and toast and the eggs lovely too. The lunch offerings might be better with hamburgers nicely grilled and better than some local pubs. It's best to check it out on the weekend with nice specials and hit it at the right time and it's a great spot more than worth a good hearty brunch to kick off the day.

This is a family owned restaurant where they go above and beyond to please even the fussiest customers. The staff is phenomenal and on top of everything, they kept our coffee cups and glasses of water full at all times. The service is outstanding, they really cater to their clientele the way everyone deserves to be treated, with great service and appreciation for their patronage. If there's an item you would like, even if it's not on the menu and they have the ingredients, they will make it for you. The food is delicious, moderately priced and the portions are very generous. Their Turkey Panini is phenomenal and the their Green Chilaquiles are delicious. I also like their bacon Cheese Burgers. I think they need to expand their menu and their hours. They are only open for breakfast and lunch at the moment, no dinner.
