Harvest Time ROADHOUSE

9 of us Did a 2 hour motorcycle ride from Oakland down here to have lunch today. Called ahead to give them an heads up, and Adam said he would take care of us. Showed up at approximately time I told him we would.He had the outside covered area all ready for us. Great food and atmosphere. And of course he has an awesome staff. We are definitely going to make this a ride again.. Thanks Adam and staff for accommodating us. I appreciate it..🤘✌️

I just experienced the worst of the wost of customer service in this place, I'm currently traveling from far away from home to visit family and we were passing by this restaurant when my kids had an emergency they asked us to stop to use the bathroom, (5, 11 and 17 years old) upon entering we read a sign W.C for customers only!! we talked about getting them some lunch to go while we arrive to our destination, after using the bathroom, one of the workers, possibly the owner a tall white male, bold headed with a large grey mustache approached us with an ugliest most racist, rude, angry, scary demeanor intimidating us got close to our faces and utterly disrespectfully attitude yelling at us, why we were such a strange women?!, acting strange waiting by the bathroom!!!, we tried to explained to him, we were going to use the bathroom first after driving for hours, because our kids had an emergency then we were going to order food to go, he continued interrupting us with rudeness while we were trying to explain, continues none stop on yelling at our faces, we were strange!!! because we didn't ask for a table first, "He called us YOU all people are strange" that was hurtful, because most people understand what it means when you are called "You People" then insisted on humiliating us infront of other customers calling us out for rushing to the bathroom first, I told him I was going to order lunch to go for my kids, he kept having a rude angry attitude, I told him again, I was going to order to go, then kept insisting in making us get a table, I told him again I wasn't planning on to dining in because the rest of our family was 1.5 hours traveling behind us, however, we could order to go, then he tried to made a none sense analogy, He said, "You people think, You people can just come to my house and open my door and use the bathroom"?? first of all, the restaurant is public, not a home private property, we insisted after our kids were done we were going to get food to go, but after the last words, I truly felt so irritated and disrespected, I left the restaurant at once, but my sister is such a calm graceful Godly woman she order an entree of fries and a soda total of $15 + tax and she left a $5 tip to a very nice young lady with truly nice manners she offered my sister and us an apology in behalf of the men's behavior. outside the restaurant some customers overheard the actions of the men, a couple left, others were making fun of us. I'm never ever coming back here again. By the way, we could have ordered a couple of lunches to go but after the very first impressive impression of rudeness, wonderful welcoming!!!, I told my sister I'm not going to buy food from a place where the very owner is treating my family in such a way, my children witnessed it all. Everything could of have a total different outcome. Kindness is free, we can always communicate with better manners, approaching customer with a simple kind question. He could of asked us, my apologies ladies, Are you planning on considering to consume, because our restaurant bathroom is for customers only?? To what we could of responded, yes, let us order some food to go. Enjoying good food on the road, left a good tip and a wonderful review, but here we are never wanting to ever set a foot here ever again.

We used to go here before COVID hit and it always been our favorite place to stop when it was Grilling and Chilling on 4th of July. This was our first time back. We were sad it had changed but decided to try it anyway. We were greeted with a friendly smile and Hello. The 2 ladies working were sisters and so friendly & pleasant. The food was delicious and the Bloody Mary’s was excellent. We are so happy that it didn’t change in excellently. It just got better. We can’t wait to go back next year or whenever we are in the area. 🍻😋
