Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

This is the worst chicken tikka masala I've ever had, very dry, huge chunks, and with almost no sauce. The samosa had giant chunks of seasoning on it, making it too salty to eat. The naan tastes like it was microwaved. Don't waste your money.

We recently visited Haveli Indian Restaurant after seeing its impressive 4.8-star rating. However, our experience did not meet expectations from the moment we walked in. The ambiance felt underwhelming and did not align with the high ratings. Despite initial concerns, we decided to proceed with ordering the vegetarian platter. Unfortunately, this too was disappointing—the potatoes had an unpleasant taste, suggesting they had gone bad, and the green chutney appeared to contain excessive food coloring. Upon the staff’s recommendation, we also tried a curry, but it was served within minutes, raising concerns about its freshness. The taste reinforced our suspicion that it had been reheated rather than freshly prepared. Given these issues, we decided not to continue with our meal and requested the bill. When we raised our concerns about the quality of the food, the staff insisted that everything was fresh and simply presented us with the bill, rather than addressing the issues. This lack of responsiveness to customer feedback was disappointing. Overall, our experience did not reflect the restaurant’s high ratings, and we were left dissatisfied with both the food and service. We hope the management takes these concerns seriously and ensures better quality control moving forward.
