Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

We stopped here for dinner on a Friday night before a show at The Grand. The food is fresh, high quality and tastes great! I am gluten free and had lots of options. The grilled chicken bowl with carmalized date & cashew sauce was outstanding. My husband had a short rib French dip and really enjoyed it. The fries are terrific! We will be back. Quick service and we ate in the clean, casual dining area.

If you’re looking for a new casual spot for a quick meal without having to sacrifice the food quality, look no further! One of my favorites was the Gorgonzola with Fig & Onion Jam Smash Burger (came with crispy shallots and a brown butter caper dressing on a toasted brioche bun). I’ve also been back since then to try their All American Smash Burger and now I actually can’t decide which one is my favorite. Another menu highlight is the Hot Habanero Honey Crispy Chicken Sandwich served with poblano coleslaw and a sweet chili peanut dressing on a toasted brioche bun. I also really enjoyed the healthier options like the Kale Caesar Salad with Orange Miso Salmon and the Falafel Bowl. All of their sweet treats are also homemade so everything was tasting amazing however the Hazelnut Espresso Chocolate Mousse is by far my favorite dessert they have! I also loved the overall decor/color scheme of the entire place inside and out. It was definitely giving me a classy diner vibe! Definitely check them out!

Have you eaten here? Tried H&F for the first time today at lunch. The Grilled Chicken Bowl was light and filling. Chicken was seasoned well, and combined with the capers, provided a nice "Piccata" feel. There is a lot on the menu, so I would settle in on what you would like prior to entering the restaurant. Everything is made to order and fresh. You can tell the owner cares about the customers and wants to see success. A couple of unexpected things noticed would be there are no fountain sodas (Drinks available in the cooler. Homemade lemonade/tea, as well as 20 oz. Coke, Boylan Soda, and flavored water options). The prices are a little high, but food is fresh to order which offsets the concern. Much like El Diablo, this place will gain a good following and I hope you will try it. I enjoyed my experience and happy to come back again soon!
