Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

There is not much positive to say about this place. The staff don't engage newcomers to their restaurant. I was simply met with "what do you want?" The banh mi sandwhich was served with cold pork on a tiny, cold bun. Given the price, the portion size seems a bit small, especially since the sandwhich consists of almost entirely raw vegetables. The spring rolls are also entirely raw vegetables inside a very gummy spring roll wrapper. Not to mention there's almost no seasoning on any of the food besides the cold(grilled) pork, and even that was sorely disappointing. The vermicelli noodle bowl was equally disappointing. Over 50% of the bowl was just raw undressed lettuce. They give you a tiny cup of chili sauce to poor over but it's too small to impart any real flavor. Also luke-warm pork again for this dish. Overall I would skip this place. If you're looking for authentic bold Vietnamese flavors and dining you won't find that here.

Great quality, fresh veggies that crunch, and service that really cares, Hello Vietnam is a perfect balance. Flavors are homemade in house for example the broth, according to the owner James, is made from scratch. You can tell. Everything is dynamic and yet comforting. We always feel good after eating this food. And James and the team customize for a few of our family’s dietary restrictions. He truly cares. And what a hard worker. This family owned business deserves your patronage. We will keep coming back. Thank you for taking such good care of us. Yum! Favorites: Vermicelli, Bahn Mi, Pho, spring rolls and that homemade peanut sauce. Chefs kiss.

Have been coming to this place weekly since it opened for the most part and it's become my favorite place to eat, easily. Excellent food, excellent service. Stopped by today and had an amazing bowl of Pho and even got to have some bone marrow in it and it was incredible!
