Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

I wish I could leave a review with negative stars. This was ridiculous. 20 minutes at table before you took our drink order another 15 to get them, not even a water. Another 20 before you took or dinner order, then we waited OVER an hour to get our meals ( which were not correct, you must have run out of chicken Marsala - why else would my MIL get a meal she did not order) the meals did not come out at the same time or even close to the same time, and some of the side dishes had to be asked for as they never made it out. While waiting for our meals the we were told they were sorry, short handed. Should have told us before we ordered. Manager came over right after we were seated to ask how we were - fine we just there. Never came back even after we requested him. As for the wrong meal, we didn’t want to re make it - everyone else would be done before it was served! Took so long to get in the first place. They offered ( we did not ask) to take the item off our bill ( great since we didn’t get it) but when the bill came they had only taken off a few dollars - not even half. Why offer if you aren’t going to do it? And that manager? Never came back - even after we requested him. Just an awful way for family dinner night to go. Too much hassle for mediocre food at best. Oh and in case any one cares, the women’s restroom was disgusting. Good thing the company at the table was amazing otherwise it would have been a horrible night. We won’t be back - not that they care, but if I’m going to go where my business is appreciated and the staff is competent. Oh we did have reservations so they did know we would be there- could have let us know ahead of time they could not serve us in a timely manner.

TL;DR decent service, we just weren’t fans of the food we got. Nearly 8 hours of driving and we were getting pretty hungry. After visiting a local toy shop this was the only restaurant I saw and reviews seemed decent. I saw the spinach and artichoke dip and decided we would give it a shot. The dip was decent but I wasn’t a fan of the chips. They looked nice and fancy but just weren’t to my liking. I think I kind of filled up on that. Hubby got the cheese curds which is a favorite appetizer for him, he was not impressed but I thought they were okay. The meal came and I had trouble eating my Philly cheesesteak sandwich due to the bread not being soft, because I have braces. That was a bummer but most people would like it toasted and I didn’t think to ask for soft bread. I just ate the guts of the sandwich with a fork but the flavor was just not great. Hubby had the black jack chicken wrap and turns out he wasn’t a fan on the blackened part. (Well aware that’s probably the point of this dish and it just wasn’t for him) The service was decent we just didn’t enjoy the meal sadly. We didn’t even get boxes because we didn’t want to eat the leftovers. We never leave food behind like that! The waitress was nice and remembered I didn’t want ice when she brought me a refill. I hated wasting food but with several hours left driving to get home, and not enjoying it fresh, we decided it wasn’t worth bringing it home. The atmosphere was nice and it wasn’t busy at the time we went. Just wasn’t the right meal for us, unfortunately. Lately I keep striking out with beef dishes, so I think I’ll be sticking to chicken dishes for a while. It’s possible my tastes have just changed since I haven’t been eating beef at home.
