Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

Absolutely amazing food and experience! The staff was so friendly and accommodating. Inside, it was clean and inviting. I loved the simplistic style and decor. The food was fantastic! I got the veggie pho and it was the most flavorful pho dish I have gotten anywhere. Their tofu was perfect, pillowy and delicious. My husband got the fried rice which was also very flavorful. My kids got noodles, rice and "chickn" which was delicious too. You can tell they really care about food, nutrition and love what they do. There were healthy cookbooks all over, and several copies of "Blue Zones." We drove 2 hours to check this place out and have zero regrets. I honestly wish they'd expand to more cities. Well done, we will be back.

I always go to High Su whenever I’m in town and craving for asian food. Don’t get me started on the portion, they’re really generous with their portions for its price and I struggle to finish, and sometimes I’d just bring the leftovers home. The food is really good! However, I’d just wish they could put other varieties of veggies on the plate instead of just broccoli or the main ingredient. It’s tastes good but it’s a little too much. The drink was soooooooo good! I think I had the mocha latte (caffeine free) never really had such good non-caffeinated drinks! Wished I could have more!

Oh man, I love this place. As often as Deb and I eat here, you'd think I'd be tired of it, but I'm not. This is a 100% vegetarian restaurant because the owners are Seventh Day Adventist but they do such a great job of seasoning and preparing the food that even hardcore carnies should give it a try. The only thing I'm not....fully thrilled about is the ordering process. They use kiosks to take your order, HOWEVER, there's always at least one server operating the counter for dummies like me, who need assistance. Plus, if you really don't want to do it that way, they'll stay with you and take your order etc in a conventional server manner. Try their fries chicken strip dinner and get it with fried brown rice, then ask for some of that red sauce they make inhouse. I'm serious, you'll love that one. The photos are of Don and Dolly Fillman, parents of a couple of my classmates growing up, plus there's a screaming flower that's some type of Asian tulip but I can't remember the name of it.
