I've been here twice and I can confidently say that this is some of the best Indian food I've ever had. I think it only has competition from the places I've been to in NYC. BEST saag I've ever had (tried both chickpea and chicken versions). Chili fish is amazing. Fantastic gobi manchurian. And both of those were as spicy as I requested. *Praise hands* Dreamy dal makhani. Perfect rice. Addictive garlic naan. My husband and friend have also tried the buffet and had nothing but glowing reviews about everything. The one thing I had a bite of from their plates was the biryani and honestly, it was a revelation - I feel like I finally understood what biryani was supposed to taste like. Super nice service. Prices just right. But most importantly, the foooood. Can't wait to come back here on my next trip to Michigan.

I’m writing this review out of disappointment. The food quality has declined significantly compared to what it used to be a couple of years ago. Today’s order was unacceptable the rice was not fully cooked and tasted semi-raw, which is basic and non-negotiable for any restaurant, especially one serving Indian cuisine. This isn’t a one-time issue. The last time I ordered butter chicken, the chicken pieces were poor in quality and texture, nothing like what this place used to serve before. Over time, the food has consistently degraded instead of improving, which raises serious concerns about kitchen standards, chef consistency, or overall management oversight. It honestly feels like a case of “things that look good from afar, but disappoint once you experience them up close.” The online ratings do not reflect the actual food quality anymore, and as a customer, that is frustrating and misleading. I am completely dissatisfied with this experience. Even one star feels generous, but since a rating is required, this is the lowest possible. Unfortunately, I won’t be ordering again, and I cannot recommend this place to others.

This is, hands down, our favorite for Indian food anywhere. The atmosphere is a little cold, service can be great or slow, but it’s always decent. The food is always delicious. Better in house than as pick up or door dash. We’ve eaten here at least 50 times since my daughter started at WMU and we love it. “Spicy” means spicy, so ask for mild if you don’t like spicy!! (This comment based on other reviews). If you care more about the taste than ambience or 5-star service, this is the place for you.
